For a CNA, no prior experience is needed to start working with IsentCare. For an LPN or RN, 6 months or more of post-acute long-term care experience is required.
Upon completing your application and uploading all required credentials and background check your IsentCare account will be approved and activated. Then you will be ready to start picking up shifts.
IsentCare workers who work per diem shifts are W2 workers. This means we withhold income and payroll taxes from your paycheck and reports the annual earnings using an IRS Form W-2.
Once you pick your shift, it will be approved.
Shifts are posted anytime. Can be from one hour to the shift or months to the shifts.
Yes, you can book as many shifts as you want.
We discourage booking a shift and then canceling If you need to cancel, you should do so as soon as possible. Depending on how far you cancel in advance and how many times you cancel, your access to future shifts may be limited.

Most of the facilities we partner with may require having various vaccinations. They may require you to have an up-to-date flu shot. You will be unable to accept shifts at these facilities during flu season without proof of vaccination. This will create limited shift accessibility. Facilities may have other vaccine requirements as well (i.e., COVID-19), but these decisions are up to each individual facility’s discretion.
IsentCare pays every week.
You must have recent hospital experience to qualify. The experience requirements vary by discipline, opportunity, and work setting.
Hospital jobs may require multi-week contracts. The length will vary by work setting and opportunity. You must work a minimum of one shift every 12 months to keep your IsentCare account active.
Once your application for a job has been received, your recruiter will review your credentials and experience and will help through the process. When a match is found, your recruiter will assist you during the onboarding process.
